In a unexpected collaboration that challenges usual forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Revealed

According to the authorized announcement, "A mysterious confrontation leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying changes echo through the shadows." The plot features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a secret cult.

The mission focuses on "peculiar trials and a monstrous foe" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Changes

The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a striking scene showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Extra Content

Players who successfully complete the quest will obtain an special katana alongside numerous objects concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
